New-look Diss Ironworks opens its doors

The showroom was open to select guests for last week’s launch event

Following a major refurbishment, appliance retailer Diss Ironworks has re-opened its doors, now as a flagship AGA Rangemaster destination.

After an investment of £500,000, the new and improved Diss Ironworks showroom now showcases the full scope of the Aga Rangemaster luxury portfolio.

With seven display rooms split across three floors, there are also displays highlighting products by La Cornue, Novy and Aga Outdoors, Everhot and Lacanche. The space also features a design studio where architects, kitchen designers and homeowners are invited to collaborate.

Diss Ironworks also features the UK’s first live display of the new Novy Undercover Induction Hob – an invisible hob set in a 20mm Dekton worktop – which was first shown at Clerkenwell Design Week last month.

Said to be “the most comprehensive showroom of its kind in the region”, the Diss Ironworks team say the space will draw clients from across Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex London and beyond. Now run by Hannah and Matt Hyde, Diss Ironworks was founded in 1973 by Matt’s parents, Peter and Anne Hyde.

“This is about future-proofing the showroom and giving our customers something truly exceptional,” explained co-owner Hannah.

“We’re proud to remain rooted in our history while evolving to reflect the very best of modern kitchen living. The partnership with AGA Rangemaster marks a first-of-its-kind collaboration and together we’ve created something that is more than just a showroom. It’s an immersive, design-led space created to spark imagination and celebrate innovation.”

Similarly, Jenny Nalborczyk, marketing manager for AGA Rangemaster said that the showroom is “a model for what an Aga Rangemaster luxury destination can be. She continued: “We’re thrilled to partner with Hannah and Matt, who have created a truly extraordinary showroom. It brings together our portfolio of iconic brands in a beautiful, curated, highly tactile environment that allows customers to experience craftsmanship, performance and design first-hand.”

For the rest of 2025, the Diss Ironworks team say they will host a series of brand-led events where guests can see the appliances in action. The first of which was the showroom’s grand re-opening event last week, which saw more than 70 designers, brand partners, and members of the interiors press get a first look at the new showroom and its displays.
