Hettich UK has announced a new partnership with East Coast Fittings (ECF), with the brand’s drawer and hinge systems going into the supplier’s assembled kitchen ranges, and ECF becoming a nationwide distributor of Hettich products.
Described as “a landmark partnership” between the two companies, ECF has chosen to use Hettich’s AvanTech YOU drawer system and Sensys hinge range as the furniture movement technology within several of its ranges. These include ECF’s Gaddesby and Volpi kitchen collections, Volante Furniture, and Robe Bedrooms.
In addition, ECF will also supply pre-assembled AvanTech YOU drawer sets, Actro 5D runners for wooden drawers, and the WingLine L sliding/folding door system to its customer base across the nation.
Over the last 40 years, ECF has built a reputation as a dependable component and pre-assembled cabinet supplier to more than 4,000 KBB trade customers across the UK and Ireland.
Meanwhile, Hettich UK has been part of the wider family-owned Hettich Group since 1990, and says it is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of furniture fittings, with 25 global subsidiaries. Last year, Hettich also opened its first Innovation and Training Centre on UK soil, which is located at its headquarters in MediaCityUK, Manchester.
