Nick Lay has been named as Caple’s new company sales manager, succeeding Vito Cataldo, who is retiring after more than 40 years with the company.
Having already worked for the company for the past six years, Caple says former field sales support manager Nick Lay has a deep understanding of its operations and customer relationships.
“I’m excited to continue the excellent work Vito has achieved and proud to represent the Caple brand as we move forward,” Nick Lay commented. “Looking ahead Caple’s 2026 vision is clear.
“We will increase brand visibility through targeted consumer engagement and brand awareness campaigns; strengthen relationships with existing clients, delivering consistent value and support; and expand national accounts, pursuing new partnerships and scaling successful programs for long-term growth.”
Meanwhile, reflecting on his career, Vito Cataldo said “Having joined Maurice Lay in 1986, I could never have imagined announcing my retirement 40 years later with the same company. My passion has always been forging strong business relationships and maintaining successful accounts, and I sincerely hope that remains my legacy.”
Caple’s managing director, Danny Lay, added: “Vito has been instrumental in shaping Caple’s sales strategy and supporting the team through decades of growth and change. His dedication and warmth have left an indelible mark on the business.”
