Laufen creates new national sales manager role

Rich Keohane has been promoted to the newly-created position of national sales manager at bathroom supplier Laufen, a role which Roca Group says has been created to further accelerate the brand’s growth in the UK and Ireland.

Effective immediately, Keohane will now report to sales director Jamie Welch, with his role encompassing a broad remit of responsibilities. This includes leading the execution of the new refined Laufen brand strategy, as well as enhancing product knowledge across the organisation, and providing strategic support for key customer meetings.

In his new role, Keohane will also be closely collaborating with Roca Group colleagues across Switzerland, the UK and Ireland, providing recommendations to the senior management team to inform future decisions involving the Laufen brand.

“Rich has been with Roca Group for seven years, most recently as a Senior BDM in the South West UK,” explains sales director Jamie Welch. “His promotion recognises both his exceptional capabilities and our commitment to giving LAUFEN the dedicated focus it deserves.

“This is a pivotal role for the brand and Rich’s deep understanding of the market, combined with his strategic thinking and relationship- building skills, makes him the ideal person to drive Laufen forward.”

Rich Keohane added:“My aim in this role is to introduce a clear strategy and direction for the short, medium and long term across our channels. I also want to improve communication and action on feedback from our LAUFEN partners, as we aim to significantly strengthen our ongoing business relationships.
