Appliance company CDA Group is celebrating its landmark 35th anniversary in 2026, and says it will run a series of events and initiatives throughout the year to mark the impressive milestone.
The company was originally founded by Ian Kershaw in 1991, and has grown significantly in the years since. In 2015, the company was also acquired by major European home appliance manufacturer Amica Group.
Since 1991, the company has worked to expand its built-in appliance portfolio across categories such as cooking, refrigeration and laundry ranges, while also building long-lasting relationships with retailers, developers and distributors.
Looking back on its history, the company says it was originally founded with a philosophy to combine innovation, functionality, and contemporary design to meet the evolving needs of modern homes and consumers.
In recent years, CDA says it has also continued to invest in its aftersales service and customer experience, which has led to the company becoming the first kitchen appliance brand to receive ethical accreditation from The Good Shopping Guide.
To celebrate this year’s anniversary, CDA says it will also be running a series of showroom events, charitable initiatives, customer campaigns and product launches to reflect on its success so far.
“Reaching 35 years is a significant achievement for the Business and is a testament to the dedication of our team members, partners, and customers,” commented Chris Ward, managing director at CDA Group Ltd. “The kitchen appliance sector has evolved dramatically over the years, and we are proud to have continued innovating and adapting alongside changing consumer lifestyles, design trends, and technologies.”
Discussing its future, CDA Group has also committed to investing further in its product development, sustainability initiatives and customer support, as the expectations of both consumers and trade partners continues to evolve. The company also says this will help it guarantee further success, as manufacturers are becoming increasingly focused on improving energy efficiency, product performance and integrated kitchen solutions.
“As we celebrate this milestone, we are also looking ahead,” Ward continued. “The future of the kitchen appliance industry is being shaped by smart technology, sustainability, and changing consumer expectations. CDA Group Ltd is committed to continuing to deliver innovative, reliable products that support modern living and create value for our trade partners.”
Robert Stobiński, Amica Group CEO, added: “CDA has built an outstanding reputation within the UK kitchen appliance market over the past 35 years. Since joining the Amica Group in 2015, the business has continued to demonstrate strong growth, innovation, and commitment to quality. We are proud to support CDA as part of our international group and look forward to continuing this success together in the years ahead.”
In other news, CDA’s most recent trading results show that the company returned to profit for the first time in six years in 2025, reporting an annual turnover figure of £42m for the year.
