kbbreview Award-winning kitchen retailer Olive & Barr has welcomed Matt Dagworthy as its new managing director.
Announcing the news on LinkedIn, Olive & Barr founder Al Bruce said: “Matt brings a wealth of experience. Having worked closely with Nicolle, our sales director and other members of our team over the past few months, he already has a strong understanding of O&B, our people and the care that goes into everything we do.”
Bruce continued: “As Olive & Barr has grown, this is a role we’ve needed to fill for some time. Finding the right person to take it on has been hugely important to me. When you’ve built a business from the ground up, handing over the managing director role is a significant moment. I’m really happy that Matt is the person taking it forward, and I’m looking forward to working alongside him as we continue to grow.
New managing director Matt Dagworthy also added: “Having had the chance to work with Al, Nicolle and the team over the last few months, I’m in the fortunate position of stepping into the role already seeing what O&B stands for: a very special blend of timelessly enduring craftsmanship, a genuine passion and delight in design and some of the most innovative thinking in the sector.

Founded in 2018, shaker-style kitchen retailer Olive & Barr has now grown to have five showrooms. The business also won the Kitchen Retailer of the Year award at The kbbreview Retail & Design Awards 2025.
