EXCLUSIVE: Wren expanding beyond kitchens and bedrooms

Wren is now offering boot rooms to customers, as well as home offices, media walls and playrooms

National retail giant Wren is significantly expanding its product portfolio beyond kitchens and bedrooms, with the company now offering a range of living spaces including fitted home offices, boot rooms and media walls.

Founded in 2009, Wren was traditionally always known exclusively for its kitchen offering before expanding into bedrooms in 2023. Now, however, the launch of Wren’s new Living collection will significantly expand its product scope beyond the traditional kitchen and bedroom space for the first time.

The retailer quietly launched a home office range earlier this year, but the newly announced Living collection will also include gaming rooms, playrooms, bookshelves and alcove storage, as well.

Wren claims its media walls cost up to 30% less than its competitors, while also saying that new utility rooms could cost as much as 40% less.

Similarly to its existing kitchen and bedroom offering, customers will also be able to book design appointments with showrooms to have help creating their new living spaces.

“There’s so much potential in the spaces around our homes, from an empty alcove to a spare room that could work harder for family life,” said Joanne Dodsworth, head of Bedrooms and Living at Wren. “Our Living collection unlocks it, with fitted furniture designed around each customer’s space, style and budget.”

Similarly, Wren managing director Mark Pullan added: “Customers already trust Wren for kitchens and bedrooms because we combine design expertise with unbeatable value. The Living collection is the natural next step. We want customers to think of Wren whenever they want to transform a space in their home.”

In related news, Wren achieved colossal turnover of more than one billion pounds in its 2025 financial results, with the company seeing its second-highest sales figures ever last year. Earlier this year, the company also made headlines after it also suddenly vacated the US market with little warning, closing all of its showrooms across the United States of America.
