Baumann group launch online training sessions

German kitchen furniture manufacturer, the Baumann Group, has launched a series of online training sessions to assist its UK dealer network.

The webinars have been operating since May but up until now have only been available in German.

Sessions will cover both Bauformat and Burger brands and the company’s bathroom brand, Badea, will be introduced to the online training later in the year.

Bob Marsden, country manager for the UK, said: “Training is vital for our customers from day one, to help them understand how the product works and how to get the best out of it. Deciding to run with a new product is just the start of the process and we would never want to just cast a customer adrift to fend for themselves after investing in our company.”

Training sessions will cover one aspect of the range at a time, starting with ‘Using the Price Guide’, ‘Front Materials’ and ‘Handleless Kitchens’. Each session is a maximum of one hour and customers are offered a selection of dates and times for the sessions to suit their individual schedules.

“These sessions will be ideal for new clients and there will also be advanced courses for our more seasoned campaigners!” Marsden continued. “After the lockdown is lifted we will be offering face-to-face training in our new “Baumann Academy” facility in Burnley, Lancashire, where we have 25 kitchens on display.

“However, there is no reason why our online training sessions should not continue for those unable to travel or those needing urgent training. Basically, if the demand is there, we’ll do it.”
