C.P. Hart reveals new managing director

Dean Weston, MD, CP Hart

Premium bathroom retailer C.P. Hart has revealed who will be taking over the managing director’s role when Paul Rowland retires at the end of July.

Dean Weston (pictured) will join the company at the end of this month and take over the running of one of the biggest names in bathroom retail.

Weston’s most recent role is three years as sales, operations and marketing director at ScS Furniture where he was responsible for all aspects of store performance, customer proposition, and digital strategy.

Before that he was MD at Commodore, owned by former C.P. Hart parent company Nobia, and deputy CEO & chief commercial officer at Bathstore.

Paul Rowland has been the MD of CP Hart for 22 years, and in that time has gone from a business turning over £15m to £50m and five showrooms has grown to 15.

CP Hart was established in 1937 and currently has 15 showrooms, including its flagship showroom in London’s Waterloo which celebrates its 50th anniversary next month, and a dedicated contracts division. It was acquired by merchant group Wolseley in August 2022 as part of its drive to expand its bathroom business into the premium sector.
