Geberit has been named Patron of the Year by its official charity partner Crash – an organisation that helps homelessness and hospice charities improve their buildings.
Geberit has raised funds through events such as the Snowdonia Triple Challenge which saw the UK board of directors cycle17km around the base of Snowdon, hike 7km to the summit and finishing with a 4km kayak across Llyn Padarn all in one day.
It has also donated a significant amount of product to the charity’s projects including Ashgate Hospice in North Derbyshire. Patients at Ashgate now have accessible shower rooms and separate toilet facilities alongside new private bedrooms (pictured) that give comfortable and dignified end of life care in the hospice.
Other brands in the construction industry have been recognised by Crash including Dulux, Taylor Wimpey and Arcadis.
