Fisher and Paykel and KBSA support more students for Bucks Uni kitchen design course

The KBSA and appliance brand Fisher and Paykel have joined forces to fund more students on the Buckinghamshire New University kitchen design foundation degree.

The funds from Fisher and Paykel will be used to cover two students who are already signed up, which will allow the KBSA to offer financial support to other students wishing to undertake the course.

Fisher and Paykel retail sales director Mark Young said: “We are delighted to be supporting students on this very worthwhile kitchen design course. It is a technically-focused and knowledge-based programme that provides students with essential skills to build a career as a designer.

“We hope to continue working with the KBSA and BNU to support more students in the future.”

The KBSA, in conjunction with the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), is also supporting Ella Kirsopp from Ream Interiors in Gillingham, Kent, on the Bucks Uni design course.

Ream Interiors managing director Peter Cross (pictured with Ella Kirsopp) added: “The Foundation Degree will provide Ella with a fantastic opportunity to develop her skills and knowledge. As a blended course, she will continue to work with us alongside her studies, having the opportunity to apply the tools and techniques she is learning in the showroom.”

Any students interested in a bursary for the BNU Foundation Degree or BA (Hons) top-up course should contact the KBSA.
