Kbsa reports climb in memberships

The Kbsa has reported seeing a continued rise in membership with 12 new showrooms having joined the association in the last five months.

The latest independent retailers to sign up are Staffordshire Kitchens in Stafford, Minister Kitchens, Bathrooms & Bedrooms in Great Yarmouth, Urban Haus Design Studio Ltd in Stockport and SB Plumbing in Telford.

According to the Kbsa, all four of the newest members said they were looking for the added assurance that membership brings to customers looking to invest in their homes as lockdown eases.

Sandra Johnson (pictured) from Staffordshire Kitchens said: “I joined the Kbsa as being affiliated or recommended by a professional body helps to boost consumer confidence, especially during these unprecedented Covid-19 times. In addition, for the business owner, the Kbsa is a great support network especially with guidance on working safely during Covod-19 as well as guidance on consumer contracts. The Kbsa helps to give me peace of mind that I am part of a professional body working with good ethics and codes of conduct.”

Kbsa national account manager Allister Reed added: “We are delighted to welcome four new members. Independent retailers are finding the support we can provide during these unprecedented times extremely valuable.”
