KBSA signs up five more retailers

Kitchen and bathroom retailers association the KBSA has signed up five more retail members as part of its ambitious plans to grown its membership this year.

The five latest retail recruits to the Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Specialists Association are Brentwood Kitchen and Interiors, the Devon Bathroom Centre in Exeter, Newrooms Design in Norfolk, Thorn Kitchens in Aberdeen and 1st Class Kitchens of Chesterfield.

1st Class Kitchens in Chesterfield is a family-run business, operated by owners David and Helen Oxley (pictured). The retailer won free membership of the KBSA in a competition run at kbb Birmingham earlier this year.

Brentwood Kitchen and Interiors has showrooms in Brentwood, Essex and central London and supplies German and UK kitchens, bedrooms and home-office furniture.

The Devon Bathroom Centre has 25 years trading from its Exeter showroom and supplies a large range of bathrooms, showers, tiles, wet rooms and bathroom accessories from premium brands across Europe.

Newrooms Design works with retail and trade customers across East Anglia from its showroom in Methwold, designing and installing kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms to suit any budget.

And the fifth to join the KBSA is Thorn Kitchens in Aberdeen which designs and supplies bathrooms as well as kitchens for a variety of different kinds of projects.

KBSA national chair Richard Hibbert said: “I am delighted to welcome these independent retailers into the KBSA. Our unrivalled package of benefits is proving to be extremely attractive to retailers. We have a new legal and HR service about to commence, which can save members thousands of pounds in fees, adding to the overall outstanding value of membership.

“We have an ambitious plan in place to drive forward our recruitment activities, aiming to grow the membership substantially by the end of the year.”
