Lord Lieutenant visits HiB for Queen’s Award for Enterprise presentation

HiB welcomed Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant for Staffordshire to its HQ for the presentation of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise.

The prestigious accolade that recognises companies that are pioneering new innovations, technology and invention, was presented to the bathroom supplier by Lord Lieutenant Ian Dudson at HiB’s Tamworth distribution centre.

Managing director Robert Ginsberg, said: “We are honoured to welcome the Lord Lieutenant to Inspire House. To have received such a prestigious award for innovation, has been hugely rewarding to everyone across HiB and represents our commitment to developing new pioneering bathroom technology that offers innovative solutions to our customers.”

Lord Lieutenant Dudson said: “It was wonderful to present the Queen’s Award for Enterprise to HiB and to meet all the team who have contributed to the company’s success. It was fascinating to hear HiB’s journey over the past 30 years and see the passion and dedication that the company has to continuing innovation and achieving even more in the years to come.”

The award was given to Robert Ginsberg and chairman Warren Ginsberg at the ceremony after Lord Lieutenant took a tour around HiB’s facilities and meet staff from across the business.

The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise is the most prestigious business award in the country, with winning companies able to use the esteemed Queen’s Awards emblem for five years. Her Majesty The Queen selects the awards on the advice of the Prime Minister, who is assisted by an advisory committee, including representatives of the government, industry and commerce.
