Mereway has donated furniture and worktops, free of charge, to the Geoff Horsfield Foundation for its initiative with the homeless and vulnerable in the Birmingham area. To date, the manufacturer has donated four kitchens to the foundation, which have been planned and installed by Hayford Kitchens.

Commenting on the initiative, Mereway Kitchens managing director Mark Mills (pictured) said: “We are so pleased to be able to help Geoff Horsfield and the great team at Hayford with this hugely commendable project.”

Geoff Horsfield added: “Mereway Kitchens and Hayford have provided quality kitchens for the Geoff Horsfield Foundation projects and are of the highest quality. This will help so many people get back on their feet and back into independent living.”

The Geoff Horsfield Foundation started in 2016 with the aim to provide “a measurable service with a sustainable impact on homelessness, vulnerability and its echo effect on the local community”. The foundation offers secure housing accommodation for vulnerable adults.

This follows Mereway’s recent push to help charitable causes by partnering with reforesting charity Tree for Lifewww.treesforlife.org.uk.
