National distributor Ideal Bathrooms has appointed David Gledhill as managing director.
Gledhill joins Ideal Bathrooms with over 35 years’ experience in the merchant and distribution sectors.
In his most recent role – heading up Graham the Plumbers’ Merchant – Gledhill is said to have gained valuable insight into Ideal Bathrooms from a customer perspective; something he believes “will be crucial to the future development of the business”.
Speaking of his appointment, Gledhill said: “Having worked with Ideal Bathrooms in my previous role, I have a strong knowledge of the products and suppliers but, equally importantly, I have the right industry connections.
“The business is in great shape and I’m eager to explore how this can be taken to the next level. I’m keen to face up to challenges in the marketplace, including the changing nature of customer purchasing behaviour, to help Ideal Bathrooms evolve.”
