Poggenpohl expands management post-acquisition

Poggenpohl has made changes to its management team following industrial holding group Adcuram’s acquisition of the German kitchen brand.

Adcuram took over the company from February 1 for a price of €10 million (£8.5m), with the aim of enhancing Poggenpohl’s market position and profitability.

In order to support chief executive Patrick Heinen, Thomas Kredatus has joined the management team as managing director.

Kredatus will be responsible for the supply chain, purchasing and IT, as well as for optimising its processes along the entire value chain.

He has previously held leadership roles in the furniture and kitchen furniture industry and worked for a leading consultancy firm.

Heinen continues to be in charge of finance, sales, marketing, design, product and innovation management, and human resources.

In addition, an Adcuram team of operational experts, together with Poggenpohl staff, has begun work on a set of comprehensive improvement measures to enhance its corporate performance.
