Save Our Skills: The return of FREE job ads for everyone

The kbbreview Save Our Skills campaign is once again allowing any employer in the KBB industry to post job vacancies on kbbreview.com for FREE.

The move marks a noticeable drop in the number of redundancies hitting the industry and a sudden rise in vacancies being advertised.

Earlier this week, CIPD, the professional body for the HR sector, released research saying more than half of UK employers intend to recruit staff in the next three months.

“I’m so pleased we can offer these free job ads again,” said kbbreview managing editor Andrew Davies. “To see so many people recruiting again after such dark days in 2020 is fantastic and we want to play our part in spreading such a positive message.

“It really shows how resilient this industry has been overall, but we must never forget that there have been many redundancies since the pandemic first hit and they are still happening.”

The SOS weekly email newsletter will now include job vacancies as well as highlighting those looking for new roles.

The kbbreview Save Our Skills campaign was started in spring 2020 as the coronavirus situation began to lead to many redundancies within the KBB sector. The aim was to keep the skills and experience these people possess within the industry if possible.

Since the beginning, the kbbreview Save Our Skills campaign has been supported by Quooker. On launch, managing director Stephen Johnson explained why he thought the initiative was so important.

The FREE job ad offer is open to any company that operates in the KBB sector – retailer, supplier or service provider.

Job vacancies will be posted at kbbreview.com/jobs for FREE for 30 days.
