Symphony to drive more leads to retailers with 2020 Ideal Spaces software

British KBB furniture manufacturer Symphony is to expand its partnership with design software specialist 2020 to drive more leads to its retailer network.

Symphony, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this month, will make use of the extended functionality of 2020’s Ideal Spaces software to help drive brand awareness and channel more leads through to its dealers.

The software will go live on Symphony’s website in Q4 this year and will enable customers visiting the site to configure their kitchens and be directed to Symphony’s network of KBB studios.

Symphony’s collaboration with 2020 will also result in it offering Ideal Spaces to joint SME customers in a Symphony-ready version.

The move is part of Symphony’s future digital and dealer support strategy and is intended to drive highly-qualified leads to its dealer network.

Said Symphony marketing and retail director Simon Collyns: “Working with 2020 has proven to be a very fruitful collaboration and we couldn’t be more excited to be able to provide our dealers with a solution to bring them more customers and eventually increase footfall in their stores. 2020 Ideal Spaces is the perfect platform to achieve this.”

Symphony’s partnership with 2020 dates back nearly 30 years to when the company started to use 2020 Fusion for its building division. There is close collaboration between the two companies on B2B projects and they share many common customers.

2020 EMEA director Tim Lambert added: “Symphony and 2020 have been working together for many years to provide the best technical solutions for our common customers. These new developments in our partnership are yet another proof of our commitment to serve the wider KBB industry.”

Symphony manufactures fitted kitchen, bathroom and bedroom furniture, had a turnover of more than £280 million in 2019 and employs more than 1,500 staff. Its portfolio of brands includes Laura Ashley, Gallery, Linear, Aquadi and Urbano.
