Taylist Media, the company behind kbbreview, Kitchens Bedrooms & Bathrooms and Studio magazines has been shortlisted in several categories at two major media awards.
Hannah Talmage, the art editor at Kitchens Bedrooms & Bathrooms, is a finalist in the ‘Designer of the Year’ category at the PPA Independent Publisher Awards.
And The kbbreview Podcast is shortlisted in the ‘Podcast of the Year’ category at the same event.
“To be shortlisted by your peers is a fantastic feeling,” said Taylist managing editor – and kbbreview Podcast host – Andrew Davies. “Hannah has done an incredible job with Kitchens Bedrooms & Bathrooms magazine, but she’s also been heavily involved in the design of spin-off website thesethreerooms.com as well as the artwork for all of our related events.
“We’re very proud of her and delighted she’s been shortlisted in such a prestigious awards.”
The PPA – or Professional Publishers Association – is the main industry body for the publishing industry. Winners are revealed on November 18 in an online ceremony.
“The nomination for The kbbreview Podcast is also so gratifying,” Davies said. “It’s a brand new medium for much of the kbb industry but it was launched at the start of the lockdown and has been a huge success for us so we’re thrilled that’s reflected in this awrds shortlist.”

The kbbreview Retail & Design Awards 2019, which was held at the Victoria Warehouse in Manchester, has also been shortlisted in three categories at the UK’s most prestigious event for awards organisers.
The winners of the Awards Awards 2020 will be announced online on November 20. Ironically, the event was due to be held in May but has been postponed because of the coronavirus however the result does coincide with the launch of the kbbreview Retail & Design Awards 2021.
The 2019 kbbreview awards has been nominated in three categories – Best Awards Event by a Publisher, Best Development of an Existing Awards and Best Experience on the Night.
