Ceramic tile manufacturer Craven Dunnill has added to its board of directors following the appointment of a new commercial director, Mark Birch.
The company said that Birch’s appointment, in addition to the recent opening of a new showroom and design hub for the brand, represents its desire to grow the company’s retail efforts.
In the newly created role, Birch will be responsible for commercial sales functions across the all divisions of Craven Dunnill, including distribution, retail, housebuilders, specification, and manufacturing.
Birch previously worked for several years as sales director at Ceramic Tile Distributors (CTD), where he was responsible for delivering significant sales and margin growth across the business’s main customer segments.
Speaking of his appointment Simon Howells, managing director Craven Dunnill said: “We are delighted to welcome Mark to the team. Craven Dunnill has a long-held passion for quality in its service and its products, and with Mark’s extensive experience in the industry, he is the perfect fit for the role.
