Uform | Six new appointments

Uform has expanded its team across the board with new members of staff within its finance, sales, business development and IT teams.

Uform’s managing director Simon Oliphant said: “We’re in an exciting chapter of growth and with growth brings lots of opportunities. Our people are one of the main drivers of success and we’re pleased to be able to expand our team further with these new roles. I’d like to wish them all every success in their new positions and we look forward to propelling the company to the next phase.”

Simon Snoddy has been appointed as the new group finance director and has joined the board of directors. He will be responsible for the company’s financial strategy to ensure profitable long-term growth.

Snoddy brings a wealth of experience, with previous roles including finance director for leading recruitment agency Staffline Ireland. Prior to this, Simon worked in the media sector for Independent News and Media (NI) as finance director for eight years and also worked as senior management for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Belfast.

The sales team has also expanded with two new area sales managers. Danny Fowler, who will lead the Yorkshire area, and Scott Dunn, who will cover the East Midlands area.

Fowler’s previous experience includes territory sales management for construction company SIG plc and positions within leading stationery company Lyreco UK, ranging from senior sales executive to business development manager.

Dunn’s experience includes more than seven years with Worcester Bosch as an area sales manager and more recently four years with JLA supplying industrial catering equipment into the restaurant and hotel industry.

Natasha Shaw and Susan Burrows join the growing business development team and will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with existing customers.

Ronan Bothwell has also joined the company as a business intelligence engineer and will be pivotal in the development of platforms that provide accurate customer data to make sound business decisions.
