Utopia | Alex Patterson

Utopia Bathrooms has promoted Alex Patterson to head of retail after being in the company as business development manager since 2009.

Patterson manages seven highly-experienced business development managers across the UK, and four of the team are new to Utopia.

The team includes Katherine Horsley, who is rejoining the company and will be responsible for the north of England.

Horsley has over 20 years’ experience in the bathroom sector, and she joins from Pocklington Kitchens and Bathrooms where she was showroom manager. Earlier in her career, Horsley spent seven years with Utopia as a business development manager.

The South-East will be covered by Chris Davies who joins from Aqualisa where he was an area sales manager. Davies has worked for Ridgeons and Roman during his 25 years’ experience within the industry.

Matthew Preece has joined the company from Bradfords and will have responsibility for the South-West. Preece has four years’ experience in the sector.

With four years’ experience, Gary Simpson has joined Utopia from Kudos Showers to look after Scotland.

Existing team members are John Howell for the South-East, Mehreen Bibi for the Midlands and Darren Wilgar for Ireland.
