Blanco says its induction hobs have been developed to offer a clever, quick, cost-effective and energy saving way of cooking. The models feature automatic pan recognition, which ensures the area where the pan is located is the only part of the hob to heat up. The heating zone also senses a pan with a smooth, flat base, and “recognisable” diameter and metal content. This means it will not heat up if smaller items are accidentally left on the hob, such as metal spoons. The hob also incorporates automatic bridge functions, a grill, a pause and recall facility, slider controls and a child lock.
