2020 unveils Fusion Live

2020’s Fusion Live is a new cloud-based resource that allows retailers to access their designs whether working from home or the showroom.

The new design software is licensed by user not computer, which allows independent retailers to access their designs from any computer. Manufacturer catalogues are also stored in the cloud and are accessible via 2020 Cloud.

2020 Fusion Live ensures that the designer has up-to-date content, which is said to reduce order complications, increase design accuracy and avoid lost revenue.

Tim Lambert, director of EMEA 2020, said: “At 2020, we provide mission-critical support to the industry and our focus is on helping our customers succeed at a very uncertain and competitive time. With this new solution, we are empowering designers with the flexibility required for their business to adapt to an ever-changing market.”

Virtual reality is a new element of the update, as 2020 has seen a rise in the importance of this new technology. Fusion Live has an integrated 3D mode that helps create a fully immersive experience for the customer.

Lambert added: “By developing 2020 Fusion Live, we recognise that offering an accessible VR experience will shape tomorrow’s in-store engagement.”

2020 Fusion Live has an easier search function than before, so items can be placed faster. The advanced filters let designers find any product by description, partial product code and dimension. Changes to door styles, finishes, hardware and cabinetry dimensions can be done instantly to create multi-style kitchens in seconds.
