‘Record trading quarter’ for UK accessible bathroom supplier

Nymas, which supplies accessible bathroom products to retailers and specifiers, has reported a “record” start to the year, beating sales target by 13% in the three months to end of March.

Craig Anderson, Nymas managing director, said: “Following a period of consolidation in which we have focused on developing our team and processes, the company is now in a strong position to capitalise on the opportunities from the growing need for inclusive washrooms.

“The company has had a record quarter to start 2019, and with our commitment to continuous improvement we plan to build on this success throughout the year.”

The company, based in Billingham, Stockton-on-Tees, has been developing its senior team over recent months, with a number of internal promotions and appointments. These include making a key person to transform operations and process.

Debbie Catterick joined the firm last year as operations and supply chain director.

Nymas said she brings “a laser focus on efficiency across the whole operations department”.

The firm added: “New technology has been implemented in the warehouse, which has reduced external storage by more than 80%.”

Nymas has more than 20 years of experience in supplying the accessibility market.
