Kitchen makeover firm Dream Doors has invested £750,000 in a new state-of-the-art training centre in Hampshire.
The firm, which currently has 84 franchises, said the training centre was a “major milestone in the company’s development”.
In the centre, new franchisees will learn how to deal with customers, survey kitchens, find and recruit staff and order parts.
All Dream Doors franchisees will also benefit from continuous training and development undertaken at the new site, the firm said.
Ed Brewer, director of UK sales, said: “We offer industry-leading and award-winning training and support. So investing in this new training centre is fitting for the size and status our company has grown to enjoy.
“It was high time to move into a state-of-the-art, purpose-built training centre.
“It lets us replicate what our business owners will have to do in customers’ homes in a controlled learning environment.
“For existing franchisees, we will also be rolling out a series of workshops and courses designed to cater to those who are at a more advanced stage of their Dream Doors career.
“This is all part of our ethos of continual professional development.”
The centre, based in the grounds of the Grade II-listed Cams Hall Estate in Fareham, features a range of the company’s high-end products alongside the latest appliances from Blanco, Franke, Karndean and Samsung.
The site enabled Dream Doors recently to run its largest ever franchisee training course, taking seven new business owners and their partners through a comprehensive three-week programme.
It said it has 19 franchise sites left, mainly in the North-East, North-West, Yorkshire and Scotland.
