Masterclass says ciao to Italian students at Cardiff HQ

Masterclass Kitchens welcomed a group of Italian students to its Cardiff headquarters this month.

The students travelled to the UK on a two-week programme that combined an English language course and a short work placement for them to gain an insight into the world of British manufacturing.

“We were keen for the students to visit Masterclass Kitchens to gain some insight into how a manufacturing company operates,” explained Nicky Partridge, centre manager at Peartree Languages.

“Visiting the showroom and the offices gave them a flavour of a factory and office environment at a time when they are just starting to think about their future careers and university options.”

Geoff Moore, HR manager for Masterclass Kitchens, who helped organise the visit, said: “We were only too happy to accommodate the students for the day. Having our factory, showroom and head office all on one site meant the group were able to get a great insight into all aspects of our business and it gave them plenty to think about in terms of their own future career options.”
