This week’s episode is all about biophilic design.
If you don’t know what that is, don’t worry, all will be revealed but at its core it’s the art of incorporating nature into interior design – but that’s not just sticking pot plants everywhere, it’s about the psychology of how we as humans react to the environment we’re in and how natural materials, shapes, smells and sounds all trigger positive vibes within our brains.
It’s fascinating stuff and there’s no one more qualified to talk about it than Oliver Heath. He’s an interior designer who has been an advocate of sustainable and biophilic design for a long time, as well as regular work on TV shows such as Changing Rooms and DIY SOS (and yes, we do talk about them a bit too…)
