CKP Kitchen Design has won an award for selling the most ex-display Symphony Kitchens through The Used Kitchen Company (TUKC) in 2022.

The award was created following Symphony’s partnership with TUKC, which estimates that it has helped the supplier recycle hundreds of its ex-display and used kitchens and prevented tonnes of waste from ending up in landfill.

Last year, the recycling award was given to Symphony retailer Andrew Elden Designs, for their work recycling kitchens in 2021.

“We were delighted to receive this award and to receive recognition for recycling our displays,” said David Turner, director at CKP. “The Used Kitchen Company team is easy to deal with and removes the hassle of selling our ex-displays. We have even had our own customers selling their existing kitchens through TUKC to part-fund their new dream kitchen. We would highly recommend it to any kitchen retailer.”

Looeeze Grossman, founder of The Used Kitchen Company, added: “We are incredibly proud of our partnership with Symphony and what it has achieved in the past three years. Congratulations to CKP, they were great to work with and a very deserving winner and it’s good to see them utilising the partnership. We are delighted to have found so many of their ex-displays a new home.

“As a company committed to sustainability, we take great pleasure in partnering with retailers to sell both ex-display and client-owned kitchens. Our customers are consistently thrilled to uncover not only great savings but an opportunity to add to their own eco-credentials too.”
