Ripples expands franchise empire with new Oxford store

Ripples has announced that it has expanded its national presence with the opening of a new store in Abingdon, near Oxford.

The new store in The Engine Centre in Kingston Bagpuize, Abingdon, is owned by Chris Gilleard, who has extensive managerial experience across the hospitality and retail franchise sectors.

Speaking about the opening, Gilleard said: “I am delighted to open a Ripples showroom in the heart of Oxford. Having gained over 20 years experience in retail, I understand the importance of every part of the process; from sourcing quality products and creating inspiring designs, right the way through to the final installation.”

He added: “ I’m looking forward to bringing my knowledge and passion for bathrooms to Oxford and to be doing so with the support of the wider Ripples family.”

Ripples showroom feature a variety of product from bathroom suppliers across Europe.

 Its range includes baths, showers and enclosures, WCs, basins and brassware in a wide variety of styles, colours and designs. It also offers unique collections aimed at providing something a little bit different, including copper baths, special finish brassware and bespoke solid wood furniture.

Oxford is Ripples’ 18th store, and when Lindfield and Tunbridge Wells open soon, the total will be 20.

Ripples was founded in 1998 by Roger and Sandra Kyme and boasts more than 60 coveted industry awards across the group.
