Bathroom manufacturer Duravit has entered into a new distribution partnership with Ideal Bathrooms, due to begin officially next month.
Duravit says that the partnership will allow the company to extend a next-day delivery service across the UK, which has been primarily designed to assist with distress purchases.
From February, existing Duravit dealers will be able to access the brand’s products through Ideal Bathrooms, including the D Neo, Me by Starck, L-Cube, SensoWash D-Neo models.
Additionally, the Duravit No.1 range of products will be available to all bathroom retailers through Ideal Bathrooms, regardless of whether they are an existing Duravit retail partner.
Will Hickman, sales and marketing director at Ideal Bathrooms, said that the distributor is excited to add Duravit’s products to its portfolio. He said: “The addition of Duravit reaffirms our status as the UK’s leading bathroom distributor, offering an extensive range of products to our customers. Combining Duravit’s renowned high-quality items with our exemplary service promise, I am confident this new relationship with be a successful partnership.”
Martin Carroll, managing director of Duravit UK agreed, saying: “We are delighted to be working with the team at Ideal Bathrooms to deliver the best-selling items from the Duravit brand more quickly to our showroom partners.
“Ideal Bathrooms have been synonymous with bathrooms for over 40 years and we are looking forward to a very professional service and developing a long-standing relationship.”
The news marks the latest in a recent string of distribution partnerships for Ideal Bathrooms. Last year, it also announced it will be handling distribution for brands such as Ideal Standard and Harrison Bathrooms.
Last year, Duravit released its latest sustainability report detailing its eco-strategy and long-term objectives. It also plans to build the world’s first climate-neutral ceramic plant, in Matane, Canada.
