Hettich and Utopia put new spin on bathroom furniture

Hettich UK and Utopia have joined forces to unveil a new concept in bathroom furniture.

German fittings specialist Hettich and UK-based manufacturer Utopia have worked together on a new cabinet design using Hettich’s FurnSpin technology.

The new storage cabinet has no doors and features storage shelves on a frame that rotates through 180 degrees, so that its contents can be completely hidden when not in use.

The concept is Hettich and Utopia’s first bathroom collaboration for the UK and will be demonstrated at the kbb Birmingham show on stand R70 and at a series of open-house events at Utopia’s showroom in Wolverhampton in early March.

Hettich UK marketing manager Jonathan Hunt said: “FurnSpin gives a glimpse into the possibilities of future furniture design. As collective innovators in the sector, we and Utopia are presenting this concept to spark customers‘ imagination. We want to explore how FurnSpin can play a part in the future of high-end cabinetry throughout the home.”

Commenting on the new concept, Utopia head of marketing Helen Clark added: “Innovation is at the heart of everything we do at Utopia. We continuously look to inspire our customers and FurnSpin technology is certainly all about inspiration. We look forward to showcasing this new concept to our customers and continuing to work in partnership with Hettich UK.”
