A range of KBB industry organisations have finalised their event schedules for this year’s InstallerSHOW, including the NKBA, KBBG, BMA and BiKBBI.

North America’s National Kitchen + Bath Association (NKBA) is a trade group that promotes professionalism in the kitchen and bath industry. The NKBA is also the organisation behind KBIS, said to be the largest trade show in the world for the kitchen and bath industry.

According to Sherry Qualls, NKBA Global Connect consultant, the organisation is set to have a presence at this month’s InstallerSHOW by presenting a seminar at the BMA’s exhibition space focused on understanding the American market.

Qualls says that the seiminar will cover design trends, economic factors and lifestyles in North America. The NKBA also plans to reveal new findings from annual research, and also discuss lessons learned from the recent KBIS show, which took place in February.

Qualls commented: “We are very excited to be taking part in the event this year. it has come about through our close contact with InstallerSHOW’s David Ventris Field and Tom Reynolds at the BMA.

“We also have a stand at the show with NKBA representatives available to discuss opportunities in North America. Please be sure to come and say howdy!”

The Kitchen Bathroom Buying Group (KBBG) has also revealed its plans for InstallerSHOW. The group said it will be sharing information at the event on what the buying group offers and how it can benefit independent kitchen and bathroom specialists.

According to the KBBG, this includes improved margins through exclusive buying conditions, members-only promotions and preferential rates from service providers.

The KBBG also said it would be using its stand to promote mykitchenspecialist.co.uk – a website which aims to bring together KBBG members to “form the UK’s leading network of independent kitchen specialists”.

Bill Miller, managing director of the KBBG, said the buying group was “very much looking forward to the exhibition”, adding: “Being part of InstallerSHOW, in the brand new Kitchens & Bathrooms sector of the exhibition, is a great opportunity to spread the word about our buying group and the work we do to support the KBB industry.”

The Bathroom Manufacturers Association (BMA) is also set to have a significant presence at the event. The association is hosting the Future of Water theatre, which will host a three-day programme of speakers and presentations throughout InstallerSHOW.

The full schedule of talks planned to take place at the BMA Future of Water theatre can be found here.

Another group set to have a major presence at this year’s InstallerSHOW is the British Institute of Kitchen Bedroom & Bathroom Installation (BiKBBI). The institute is an event partner of the exhibition, and has announced a comprehensive three-day programme of events for the show, as well as the launch of its Funding the Future of Installation initiative.

June 26 will see the institute hosting a breakfast briefing hosted by BiKBBI CEO Damian Walters. On June 27, BiKBBI’s Careers Desk will be open, offering advice for those considering a career in KBB installation, as well as installation businesses interested in taking on an apprentice. On both June 25 and 26, BiKBBI will also be teaming up with the NKBA to host a series of talks on opportunities and trends from the North American market.

The full list of BiKBBI’s planned activities at the InstallerSHOW can be found here.

Michelle Daniels, BiKBBI’s director of marketing and communications, said the group was “thrilled” to be an event partner this year. She said: “The show provides BiKBBI with the rare opportunity to meet with the installation community in volume and in person, as well as with manufacturers, distributors, suppliers and retailers.

“We have put together a great line up of engagement opportunities for all of our stakeholders and our activities, in addition to the fantastic programme of events that InstallerSHOW and other exhibitors have planned, will no doubt culminate in the event of the year of anyone working in the KBB industry.”

The NKBA will be exhibiting at stand 4A18, the KBBG will be on stand 4A23, the BMA’s Future of Water theatre will be located at stand 4F22 and the BiKBBI can be found at stand 4B19.

InstallerSHOW will be taking place between June 25 and 27, at the NEC in Birmingham. kbbreview, the leading business media platform in the independent kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom retail sector, is proud to be partnering with InstallerSHOW Kitchens & Bathrooms as the event’s official content partner.
