A new kitchen products supplier, White Label Sinks and Taps, has officially launched to the market, with its management team made up of former members of staff from The 1810 Company.
Ex-1810 group sales director Daryl Southwell has been appointed to lead White Label as managing director, with Alison Clitheroe, also formerly of 1810, stepping into the role of operations director.
The company says that the pair will draw on their extensive experience serving the retail and contract markets to shape a business “built around quality products, reliability, and genuine customer service”.
According to the company, its business strategy will be to offer a compact range of products, which it says it will combine with “a vast UK stockholding”. White Label Sinks and Taps says this business model should “significantly reduce lead times and give customers greater confidence and flexibility when placing orders”.
Although the company has launched to specialise in the supply of premium stainless steel kitchen sinks and taps, White Label says it is also looking to introduce a range of high-end quartz sinks early next year.
White Label’s managing director, Daryl Southwell, commented: “Having worked in this market for many years, we understand exactly what our customers need — outstanding and consistent quality, dependable service, and products that arrive when promised.
“That’s exactly what we’ve built this business to deliver. In my previous role at 1810, we were recognised as market disruptors, we aim to not only replicate this but take it to the next level.”
Operations director Alison Clitheroe added: “Having seen a significant upward trend in prices since Covid, we wanted to offer a top-end, quality product at a competitive market price with customer service at the heart of everything we do.”
