KBB supplier Woodstock Trading Company says it has been affected by the major global IT outage today, leaving it unable to access some of its systems.
In a statement posted to the company’s LinkedIn, Woodstock Trading confirmed that it was temporarily unable to access its order processing and stock system. In addition, members of staff at the company also have no access to incoming emails.
Until the situation is resolved, Woodstock Trading Company says it can’t guarantee the delivery dates of any orders placed after 5pm yesterday.
Fortunately, the company has reassured that orders placed before this time due for delivery and dispatch today are unaffected. According to Woodstock, its phone lines are still open for any urgent product inquiries.
Major problems with computer systems are being reported worldwide, which is disrupting transport, broadcasters, hospitals and other sectors. Flights have been grounded across the world, and rail companies in the UK say they are experiencing “significant” disruption, leading to delays.
In other recent news, Woodstock Trading Company opened its newly refurbished showroom this month, which is located at its headquarters in Hereford.
UPDATE: Woodstock Trading Company has now confirmed it has resolved the systems issue and is now able to take customer orders as usual.
