Kitchen and bedroom retail giant Wren has announced a strategic partnership with The Home Depot, one of America’s leading home improvement specialists, to operate Wren concessions within their stores.
On its website, Wren describes the coming together of the two brands as “working together to revolutionise the kitchen industry”.
Wren has already begun opening showrooms – branded Wren Kitchens Studio – within a number of The Home Depot stores in Connecticut. Some reports suggest that over 100 such showrooms are planned for the next three years.
Wren, which has 111 showrooms in the UK, first announced its intention to expand its reach by launching into America in February 2020. Later that year, it opened a 252,000 sq ft manufacturing facility in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and its first showroom in Milford, Connecticut.
Wren now operates 14 independent showrooms across the United States.
A Wren spokesperson said: “We’re excited by our collaboration with The Home Depot. Our two businesses have a similar outlook and culture and for some time now we’ve been exploring ways of working together. We believe that between us, we can provide a unique experience to those customers looking to remodel their kitchens.”
