Premium appliance brand Miele has revealed plans to open a new Experience Centre on London’s Wigmore Street in March of 2025.
Miele says it will be opening the new 3,000 sq ft corner location at No 25 Wigmore Street, and that the new location will replace its Experience Centre at Cavendish Place, which will be closing in March.
The West End street has gone on to become synonymous with design, and is home to the showrooms of many other well-known premium KBB brands.
According to Miele, the new Experience Centre is intended to serve as a hub for both its customers and retail partners, offering an opportunity to experience its full range of appliance products.
Planned as a one-stop destination for those interested in the brand, Miele says customers can enjoy live cooking demonstrations, gain insights into products, and attend Kitchen Discovery Classes, where they can experience first-hand how the company’s products can transform the way they cook.
Additionally, Miele says the Experience Centre will be able to serve as an extension of retailers’ own offerings, as customers referred there can view appliances and then have their selections finalised with a showroom or designer.
“Wigmore Street has long been recognised as a premium destination for kitchen design in London, making it the ideal location for our new Experience Centre,” commented John Pickering, managing director of Miele GB.
“This investment represents our continued commitment to delivering world-class experiences for both our customers and our kitchen retail partners. At Miele, we believe in empowering our trade partners by providing them with a resource where they can confidently send their clients for VIP treatment, expert advice, and hands-on experiences with our products.”
Ela Hedges, store manager for the new Wigmore Street Experience Centre also added: “The team is super excited to move to the beautiful new building. We look forward to welcoming both loyal and new retail partners along with their customers so that we can extend our exceptional hospitality and showcase the Miele difference.”
The new Wigmore Street Experience Centre follows the recent opening of Miele’s location in London’s Mayfair, which opened over the summer.
In other recent news, Miele warned in February that it may have to cut or relocate nearly 12% of its total workforce as it looks to reduce costs amid the current economic crisis.
