New in projects – August 2025
Fresh ideas, bold statements, and clever solutions — these latest design projects show just how far kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms can be pushed. From standout looks to smart details, these are the spaces setting the pace…
1. Gabriela Trindade
Company: Angel Interiors
This compact bathroom originally lacked storage and natural light. Another challenge was the addition of an awkward, intrusive airing cupboard dominating the space.
The aim of the design was to transform the space through functionality and bold design choices. Trindade focused on concealing the airing cupboard behind slatted wood panels to give the space a seamless and modern finish.
2. Andrew Dawson
Company: North Arch Bathrooms
For their ensuite off from a walk-in wardrobe, the client wanted to create a calming retreat. Designer Andrew Dawson wanted opted for Crittal-style doors from Drench showers to create a statement from the moment you walk in the room.
Featured is the khaki green Kurv bath by BC Designs, paired with Axor Brassware, earthy green tiles, wooden panelling and finished with Origins Living Capsule mirrors.
3. Zoe Curtis
Company: The Tap End
The limited space had to work for a full family with growing children and a dog but also had to work to a realistic budget. Zoe’s client’s must-haves included a shower over the bath, colour and pattern, a space for plants and storage.
This room benefitted from window sill height boxing which was used to hide plumbing but also allowed for a wall hung WC, concealed shower valve and bottle alcove.
4. Andy Barwell
Company: Kutchenhaus Chichester
With an open brief, Barwell was really able to go to town on this layout both from a function and aesthetic perspective. He deliberately took the units higher to accentuate the vaulted ceiling and ensure the kitchen blended well.
Aside from the colour scheme – a blend of dark and light furniture from Nobilia with bronze appliances by Neff and a rose gold Quooker tap – the focal point of the space is a 3.7m long central island.
5. Keara Hunnisett
Company: Eridge Green
This design is said to have transformed the room into what the client now calls ‘the party room’. Designed for everyday living and entertaining, the focal point is the bespoke navy in-frame cabinetry, with classic Shaker-style doors and drawers, and the statement island.
Cornice and skirting details were chosen to add a traditional element, in keeping with the property’s period character.
