German furniture brand Rotpunkt says it has enjoyed “ongoing success” across the first three months of 2026, and is expecting to achieve an impressive increase to both sales and turnover by the end of Q1.
According to Rotpunkt, its current forecasts are projecting the company will see an 8% rise in sales along with an 11% increase in turnover at the end of the first quarter on March 31.
Rotpunkt said January was “a strong start to the year” which saw a large inflow of orders, with February bringing “modest growth”. Meanwhile, the furniture brand says that March is set to be its strongest month of the year so far.
Rotpunkt says the UK still remains one of its most important export markets, especially for driving business growth and diversifying revenue. However, the company also said that “outside influences like Brexit, the COVID-19 pandemic, and persistently high inflation helped to push the market into a phase of consumer caution”.
But, on a more positive note, Rotpunkt added that it believed the situation was improving despite the market remaining challenging.
“We’re set to achieve a rise in turnover of 11% in the weeks following the March 31 close, and given this follows a record high of €103.7 Million in 2025, we aim to use our ongoing success in kitchen furniture manufacture as a springboard for the new 2026 collection, which serves every room in the home,” explained Rotpunkt’s managing director of sales and marketing, Sven Herden.
He continued: “In general, we are experiencing a stable market trend throughout the company and as we navigate business in 2026, we will show the necessary respect to the economic and geopolitical challenges influencing our market. In such a turbulent market, it is extremely important to stay close to our partners and provide new impetus through ongoing new product development.
“We remain hopeful that the positive results in the first quarter will continue throughout the rest of the year however, we are mindful that the economic situation across many markets does not give cause for unqualified optimism quite yet.”
Similarly, Matt Phillips, Rotpunkt’s head of UK operations added: “We are absolutely delighted by the positive response to our 2026 Collection, as we continue to develop our product offer for the kitchen, bathroom, dressing room, and living space to entrench our position as a true furniture brand, which supports coordinated design schemes throughout the entire home.
“We want to provide a sustainable competitive advantage, and early market results show that we’re delivering a value proposition for our retailer that aligns with contemporary lifestyles.”
Rotpunkt’s positive growth follows the recent news that the brand was expanding into the bathroom furniture market for the first time. Confirming the news exclusively to kbbreview back in November, the company said the decision was made to better position itself as a “comprehensive whole-home furniture partner”.
Rotpunkt’s first bathroom furniture products were released in the UK in January.
