Cyncly has acquired the German-based software platform imos for an undisclosed sum, which the company says will significantly increase its ability to help manufacturers support customers across the end-to-end design process.
The imos platform was designed to help manufacturers turn designs into full-scope visual realisations. Cyncly says the platform is a leading provider of CAD/CAM, integration and automation software for the furniture manufacturing industry, and reportedly serves more than 5,000 manufacturers across 100 countries.
For manufacturers specifically, Cycnly says the acquisition means a more connected, end-to-end, AI-ready workflow, able to draw on production data to optimise material usage, catch errors, and move more orders through production faster.
In addition, imos customers will now gain access to Cyncly’s AI-driven innovation and development investment. Cyncly has promised that imos will continue to serve its existing customers with the teams and support they currently have, while also gaining resources to deepen its capabilities.
