Hisense appoints new refrigeration category manager

Appliance brand Hisense UK has welcomed Nathan Newlove as its new refrigeration category manager.

Newlove joins the company from appliance company Midea, where he held the position of product manager across several categories. Before that, he also spent over four years at Haier.

Now at Hisense, Newlove will be responsible for developing the refrigeration category’s long-term category strategy. This will include managing product launches, driving category performance and ensuring alignment across sales, marketing and product teams.

“I’m delighted to be joining Hisense at such an exciting time for the business,” Newlove said. “The company has built an outstanding reputation for innovation within Refrigeration and established itself as one of the UK’s leading brands. I’m looking forward to working alongside Alison and the wider team to build on that success, bringing new products to the market and continuing to strengthen our position within the category and among consumers.”

Alison Ladkin, the head of MDA Go-to-Market at Hisense UK, added: “Over the past decade, we have established Hisense Refrigeration as one of the UK’s leading brands through a relentless focus on delivering innovation, quality and value to consumers, supported by strong retailer partnerships and the dedication of our team.

“Nathan’s appointment reflects our ongoing investment in the category and marks an important milestone in our growth journey. His extensive industry experience and knowledge of the refrigeration market will be instrumental as we build on this success, and we are delighted to welcome him to the business.”
