Sub-Zero & Wolf opens new Madrid showroom

The new showroom features multiple zones designed to showcase the brand’s stainless steel appliances

Appliance brand Sub-Zero & Wolf has opened a new showroom in Madrid’s Salamanca district, increasing its total number of European showrooms to three.

Joining the company’s existing two showrooms in London and Cannes, the new 3,770 sq ft showroom is located at 85 Alcalá Street, across from Retiro Park.

According to Sub-Zero & Wolf, international design firm James Brookman was enlisted to work on the space, which displays the latest appliances from the company’s portfolio.

Set across two floors, the space is said to have been designed in a contemporary and minimalist style. Tactile materials such as wood and stone are paired with a monochrome colour palette, designed to complement Sub-Zero & Wolf’s stainless steel appliance ranges.

The showroom features a professional-grade theatre kitchen which will be utilised for live demonstrations, educational classes and cooking events. There is also a wine storage area, serving as a cellar for exclusive events.

The new Madrid showroom is also equipped with a circular meeting room, that Sub-Zero & Wolf says can be used by its dealer and interior designer network to host training sessions, video conferences and events.

Ricky Davies, director of Sub-Zero & Wolf UK and Europe, called the opening a milestone, and said that the company was delighted to have established a presence in Salamanca. He added: “As a brand, we are constantly innovating and this new experiential model is transforming traditional showrooms. Our goal is to introduce our premium products and customer service throughout more key cities in Europe

Last year, Sub-Zero & Wolf also re-opened the doors to its London showroom, which is located in Knightsbridge,  following a period of closure to renovate its lower-ground level product suite.
