As it continues the search for its bathroom designer of the year for 2025, Hansgrohe managing director Jay Phillips has told kbbreview that the competition is the company’s way “of celebrating the creativity and innovation that inspire our industry”.
Entries first opened in July, with the competition open to any project completed in the last 12 months, or due to be finished in 2025. Hansgrohe says the competition will “celebrate the creation of inspiring bathroom spaces that incorporate high quality aesthetics, innovative technology and best utilise Hansgrohe’s bathroom products under its leading brands – hansgrohe and AXOR – within new or refurbishment bathroom projects”.
Hansgrohe is accepting anything from smaller projects to complete high-end luxury installations, and bathroom designers can submit as many entries as they like. The competition has three categories: projects valued up to £10,000, projects between £10,000 and £25,000 and projects exceeding £25,000.
Speaking to kbbreview, Phillips said: “At Hansgrohe, exceptional design is at the heart of everything we do — it’s not just about how a product looks, but how it enhances everyday life. This competition is our way of celebrating the creativity and innovation that inspire our industry. We’re proud to champion designers who push boundaries and share our passion for elevating the way people experience water in their homes.”
The deadline for submissions is October 31, 2025. After this, Hansgrohe will announce a shortlist of five finalists in each category in November, with the final designs going on to be reviewed by an expert judging panel. Hansgrohe says the winners will be revealed in December of this year.
The winners of each category will go on to become ambassadors for Hansgrohe and Axor UK, and also be awarded with vouchers to spend on a luxury holiday of their choosing.
