Online bathroom retailer Victorian Plumbing has enjoyed modest revenue, profit, and order volume growth across the last financial year, despite the overall uncertainty in the market.
According to the company’s latest trading update, across the financial year up to September 30, Victorian Plumbing’s revenue has increased by 5%, increasing from £295.7m last year to £310 in 2025.
The company’s adjusted pre-tax profits also increased by an impressive 17% this financial year, up from £27.2m in 2024 to £31.8m now.
The online retailer says this is particularly impressive given that the UK home improvement and DIY market is estimated to have declined by 3% over the same period, according to Barclays.
Across the year, trade revenue grew to £74m, up by 10% from £67m last year.
Excluding its newly relaunched MFI business, order volumes for Victorian Plumbing also grew by 6% over the last year, with the last 12 months marking a record 1.08m orders delivered across the year.
Speaking of MFI, Victorian Plumbing said the customer response to the brand revival and soft launch has been “very encouraging to date”, with the retailer planning for a full launch in the first half of 2026.
“I am pleased to report another solid financial and operational performance following an exciting twelve months for the Group,” commented Mark Radcliffe, the CEO of Victorian Plumbing.
“Our own brand proposition and availability of a wide range of high-quality bathroom products and accessories continue to resonate with our customers. Our new state of the art distribution centre continues to enable us to fulfil orders more efficiently and support our ambition to grow both our trade and expansion categories.”
These results come hot on the heels of Tile Mountain’s record results across the same year, with sales up by 30%. Meanwhile, Wren Kitchens’ parent company recorded a net loss of over £15m in its latest financial report, also revealing it had lost another 500 jobs in the last 12 months.
