Lakes Bathrooms has appointed Claygate Distribution as a strategic distribution partner as it looks to expand its reach across the UK following its acquisition by Hiatt Hardware Group.
The new Lakes strategic distribution partnership has been agreed to take effect from June 12, 2026.
The move comes following the acquisition of the Lakes businesses by Hiatt Hardware Group and will see Claygate add the full Lakes product range to its updated catalogue and website when they launch later this month.
Claygate will hold stock of the Lakes range at its warehouse facilities, enabling immediate order fulfilment from the start of the partnership.
The distributor, which represents more than 40 bathroom and plumbing brands, will stock Lakes’ core ranges including Wave, Classic, Modular Walk-In and Roku.
Both companies said their sales teams will work together to support existing customers and develop new business opportunities across the combined portfolio.

The partnership is expected to provide Lakes with access to a broader trade customer base through Claygate’s established distribution network.
