One year on from the opening of its first-ever high street showroom, kbbreview Award nominated retailer Grappenhall Kitchen Company is set to host a first anniversary celebration at the end of this month.
Prior to the showroom’s launch, husband and wife team Neil & Carole Vernon had previously been operating the business solely from a small studio office at their home. However, Grappenhall opened its high street showroom in October 2025, before going on to be named a New Kitchen Retailer of the Year finalist at this year’s kbbreview Retail & Design Awards.
The team plan to mark the occasion by hosting a first birthday party for the showroom this month. Alongside nibbles, drinks and a birthday cake, the team are also planning to host a charity raffle with a V8 Dyson hoover up for grabs.
Alongside the celebrations, Grappenhall also plans to use the event to officially open its new series of displays, all of which will be on the showroom’s lower ground floor.
“We’ve had a fantastic year and we are busier than ever,” enthused co-owner Carole Vernon. “The showroom has come together nicely and we can’t wait to show all our customers, old and new, the additions we have made to our lower ground displays.
“We are fortunate to be supported by a great showroom team who all love what they do and are like a second family. Our team of tradespeople, whom we work with regularly, and the reps who have taken the time to establish and build on existing relationships, have all helped to make the transition to the showroom and the last 12 months an incredible success and we really appreciate their support.”
