Q: Why are trade shows such as this one important for your business?
A: We see this trade show as vital for raising our profile and awareness of who we are within the UK trade. We are one of the biggest kitchen manufacturers in Germany, and we want the show to get this message across.
Q: Why should retailers come to shows like this? What are the benefits to them?
A: For the retailer, it is a chance to see what is happening in their market, and perhaps compare the attributes of several potential business partners under one roof.
Q: How’s business compared with last year?
A: Our business is well up on last year and already several dealers have had long-standing quotes given the go-ahead the day after the election. It seems confidence is returning and the pound is rallying.
Q: What are the main challenges you will face as a business this year and how will you overcome these?
A: Our biggest challenge is to secure more new dealers with the emphasis on quality and we have put in place several innovative ideas to help us do just that, including the aforementioned ‘The Kitchen Family – Elite Dealership’.
