CDUK, the UK distributor of Corian, is working with The Kitchen Education Trust (TKET) to sponsor a student on the part-time distance learning Foundation Degree in Kitchen Design at Bucks New University.
CDUK will sponsor one candidate on the course starting this September, paying half their fees and working with them to bring projects and those of their employer to the notice of the industry through the media.
The deadline for applications is July 31.
CDUK managing director Gary Baker said: “We are passionate about raising standards in our industry and we believe our designer and fabricator customers are too. We are keen to receive applications from up-and-coming designers, or nominations from employers who share our vision. TKET have worked hard with the university to get this course right, and we look forward to seeing how the successful candidate progresses.”
The award-winning course has the full backing of the industry through TKET. Taught online by kitchen design experts, the course is available to students anywhere in the UK.
