After 30 years leading the company, founder Mike Rose has stepped down as managing director of Colchester-based Lubina Kitchen Company, with sales director Emma Rose now appointed as his successor.
Emma has worked as the company’s sales director since 2005, and the company says she has played a pivotal role in strengthening its relationships with clients, as well as expanding its reach and ensuring a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
As she steps into the role, Emma will continue to be supported by company secretary Dolores Rose, and works director Robert Byford.
Former managing director Mike Rose will also reportedly still remain actively involved in the company as a member of its board of directors, which should ensure a smooth transition.
“After 30 years, the time is right for Emma to take the lead, and I couldn’t be prouder,” commented Mike Rose. He continued: “She has been running the business alongside me for years, and our clients won’t see any change—except that Lubina will continue to go from strength to strength. I look forward to supporting her and the team in my new role on the board.”
Announcing her appointment, Emma Rose also commented: “Lubina Kitchens has always been built on strong values—quality, reliability, and long-term partnerships. I’m honoured to carry forward my parents’ legacy. With the continued support of our incredible team and clients, we will keep growing and delivering the best made-to-measure kitchens and furniture solutions for our B2B partners.”
